Lenovo... The Future of Technology?

Lenovo has created what is considered the hottest of the computers on the market. It is a hybrid that is just as powerful, if not more than the rest and has the clearest HD display out of all of the touchscreen laptops. It's yoga 2 design makes the screen able to completely flip around from a closed laptop to an open tablet.



If you get the i7 processor the computer is much more powerful and makes it much more useful as a laptop. The touch screen also is multi touch which makes it much more useful than the cheaper tablets and makes it much more comparable to the iPad air. As of right not this is the latest and greatest possible technology on the market and more than likely will be until apple releases a new monumental project.

Iphone 5c and 5s Review

Apple has just released the new Iphone 5s as well as the new Iphone 5c. I personally am a really big fan of the 5s because of how powerful it is. They put their brand new a chip inside of it which increases the graphic quality without using more power. This is due to their new 64-bit chip they have put in the new phone. The Iphone 5s also has a very nice slow motion video camera so you can see some exciting moments in your life slowed down to enjoy it even more. As well as the new flash, it is much more responsive and clear.

The reason I like the 5s a lot more than the 5c is also because only the 5s has the fingerprint sensor. I think this is a very useful piece of technology. Because it will not allow anyone else to get into your phone if they steal it or something. The 5c is coming in a bunch of different colors but the power behind it is very weak. Also the screen is not nearly as high of durability. they did a drop test of the two phones from the same height and the 5c shattered and the 5s did not even scratch up a little bit. The other main difference that I like is that the 5s is made of metal and has an aluminum back, whereas the 5c is made of plastic.

The Silent Apple Release

Last week Apple released their newest product, the iPad mini with retina display. This is very similar to when the iPad was originally released with the retina display. They did not make too big of a deal about it because they feared that if they made a big announcement people would expect a monumental new product. They did this with the iPad Air. They made a very big announcement and they changed the whole look of the worlds most popular tablet.

Not only did the new iPad mini have a retina display, it also came featured with apple's new 64-bit processor. Although the iPhone 5s which also had this processor has been experiencing a lot of crashes with the new processor, the iPad will more than likely have fixed the processor. Overall many people are very disappointed with apple over the last few years.

This is because their products for the most part have not really improved over the last few years whereas the competition's products have been getting much better. For example the new windows surface is nearly as powerful as a computer and can be used as one, and it is also a tablet just like the iPad. It is also the same price as the iPad. The iPad mini with retina will join this list of things that are disappointing to the consumers. Lately whenever Apple has been releasing their products their stock price has dropped every time.

The Pros and Cons of updating to IOS7

     Last Month Apple released their newest mobile software by the name of IOS7. Overall the ratings have been for the most part negative. I think this is mainly because people who normally get iPhones like for how simple they are and this new update made it slightly more complex. 

     For the younger crowd though most people very much like the new update. The main downside for people like me though is that there are many glitches and apps are crashing a lot more often. My main complaint though was the music app. They added the iTunes radio to it which is pointless if you have Pandora One because it is the exact same but with ads. 

     Also the app kept crashing as well as the iTunes app. The recent IOS 7.0.3 update though fixed most of the problems. Overall though I am very happy with the new update. I love the new control center because you access almost all of your settings just through swiping up on the screen. Also the new lock screen allows you to swipe anywhere on the screen to unlock it. 

Ipad Air Review and comparison

On Tuesday, October, 22nd Apple released their newest tablet. It's called the Ipad Air. This Ipad is not only much lighter than its previous model it also is much more  powerful. Another plus about the new Ipad is that it is still the same price. Some people were worried that this model would increase in price but they were very happy when it didn't. One thing that disappointed me very much about this Ipad is that they didn't add the new fingerprint scanner.

This is the primary reason I might not get this tablet. Also I am a big fan of buying Ipads used because that way you don't lose nearly as much money. Recently I have done research on the new surface 2 from Microsoft and it was very impressive as well. Microsoft includes Word, Powerpoint, and Excel with the Surface 2 and so Apple just recently announced that Pages, Keynote, and Numbers will all be free for new Apple devices.

If you want these on your Ipad for free but you don't want to buy the new one there is one other I found out. If you have bought either the Iphone 5c or the Iphone 5s then you can download them for free on that device and then it will show up as a free download on your Ipad. Make sure you have the same apple ID on your devices or else this won't work.

The Headphones industry

Headphones are a very key part of almost every young person's life in the world. There are many companies that solely make their money off of headphones. The leader of these companies is Beats By Dr. Dre, they can sell a pair of their headphones for $300. Other companies have tried to compete with them in the luxurious headphone industry but they are not nearly as successful. The main reason for this is that Beats have established a name in the industry as the best of the best.

Recently Monster cable company and Beats By Dr Dre have ended their partnership, this was mainly due to the fact that the monster cables were breaking and customers were mad that they paid so much money and their headphones were breaking. Now that Beats make their own cable, they don't have nearly as much of an issue with them breaking. Monster Cable decided that they would decide to make their own luxurious headphones. They sell theirs though for about $100 less than Beats but they still do not sell nearly as many. 

Headphones are now very important to people and they want the quality of their music to be high. Skullcandy sells headphones as well but they charge as little as $10 for a pair of their headphones. They are trying to appeal to the lower class market and for the money their headphones are very good quality. If you do have enough money to spend on Beats I would definitely recommend doing so.
